I've expressed my love for Tom Binns before, and my obsession hasn't subsided. BUT. Since I'm one broke beezy, I can't afford one at the moment. Being broke has never stopped me before, so I decided to make my own. I headed to Forever21, bought the gaudiest necklace in sight, and plotted its transformation. I decided on a colour palette of mint, purple and hot pink. I then painted each stone with nail polish for a Tom Binns inspired look.

Sorry for being virtually MIA this week.
Places to go, people to see, you know how it is. I locked myself in a homework dungeon. Some of my writing and photos have been published on Spoken Dress, go have a look! In other news, Project Runway All Stars is almost at a close. I had a little chuckle at Austin Scarlett's collection theme: "The theme is sort of...Fragonard, Madame de pompadour meets 21st century rock star slash Williamsburg Hisidic gentlemen." I love the man, but whut?
Just discovered that every month the "Pawnee Parks Department" puts out a news letter.
Experimentation with a new snack: peanut butter and avocado on a rice cake. I would not recommend it.

This past week, we headed to the Vancouver Museum (forgot we had one of those) to check out the Art Deco Chic exhibit. It was like being transported to the 20s and 30s. Talk about dressing to impress, women back then knew how to put together an outfit. If any of them were caught in some of the things we wear today, I'm sure they would be socially exiled. We then wandered over to the Neon Vancouver Ugly Vancouver exhibit. I have a feeling the neon Drake sign isn't referring to ma main man Drizzy, but I'm going to pretend it is.
When I saw this dress at Zara, it was love at first sight. My ever-growing obsession with peter pan collars is taking over my wardrobe, and this peter pan collar just so happened to be b-dazzled. What more could a girl ask for?

Ooh La Lace
Both spring and fall 2012 runways had more than enough lace shorts to go around. If you're lucky enough to be going to Coachella (Im not), stock up on them in every colour and pair them with a fringe vest. For the rest of us, do the exact same thing and pretend you're going. I'm particularly stoked on the black Zara ones which I plan to wear with my python Litas for a night out with ma gurlz.

Wildfox photos are hands down my favourite. The styling is always original and the photos are always dreamy. This collection is inspired by 3 different wildfox girls, all with a story of their own: "Ella, a fairy from Los Angeles, Cherie, a gypsy from Paris, and Dahlia, a witch from New York." As I'm sure you could have guessed, I was sold at the cosmic cat T (Lusting F' Sho).

Sorry that I've been pretty much awol this week. School is a bit cray cray right meow and the only interaction I've had with my computer has been project related. If you have Pinterest, feel free to follow me here. I'm still not totally sure how to use it, but I can already feel an addiction coming on. Once again, I bring you homeless photos from throughout my week.
I finally got around to putting this together and getting it up on my wall. I veered off a little from what I had planned, deciding to make it just postcards and photos.
A flower headband I forgot I owned from H&M. It will definitely come in handy this spring.
